Is a Family Guy movie something you want to see?
Films based on irreverent adult-animated sitcoms are not unheard of and can be very lucrative endeavors. South Park capitalized on its own success early on in the series run with Bigger, Longer & Uncut, which today remains a beloved franchise offering among fans. The Simpsons movie was even more successful, and that came out during a time when people were starting to think the yellow family had nothing new or exciting left to offer viewers. Family Guy, admittedly, has one cinematic disadvantage compared to those other two shows; despite all three being thoroughly absurd, The Simpsons and South Park tend to focus around plot-heavy endeavors. Family Guy is known for just the opposite - its hardest-hitting moments often have nothing at all to do with the episodes they're placed in. This could make a feature-length version of the show difficult. There was a straight-to-video released in the mid-2000s to some degree of success - this movie was eventually split into three separate episodes a

Should Deadpool and Wolverine have sequel movies?
According to an alleged Hollywood insider on X, Hugh Jackman is set to stay as Wolverine - even after the events of Avengers: Secret Wars. Jackman and Ryan Reynolds even want to make more Deadpool and Wolverine films together! Honestly, I’m not sure that I’m into that idea. The initial movie is easily breaking records and becoming a fan favorite because it’s hitting all the right callbacks for superhero fans who were watching Marvel movies in the mid 2000s. Marvel Studios can’t possibly ride that wave for too long - especially after all the cameos they’re going to use for Secret Wars. What do you think? Do Deadpool and Wolverine have enough material from the comics? What’s your take?

Was Keira Knightley bad in Pirates of the Caribbean? I don’t think so.
In an interview with the U.K.’s Times, actress Keira Knightley explicitly stated that she was viewed as rubbish back when she first starred in The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. She, of course dabbles in other things during the conversation, like the fact that her Elizabeth Swann character led her into all sorts of roles (and what they were), but that one sentence irks me - how about you? Yea, sure she might have been overdoing that British accent at times, but I do believe that her character needed to be there to bring another layer to the otherwise one-dimensional pirate story.

If a remake of Die Hard was made, who would play John McClane?
Whether it’s on streaming or in the theaters, every old school 90s franchise seems to be getting yet another chance in the spotlight these days. Bad Boys, Twisters, Beverly Hills Cop (latest one was in ‘94), Aliens (3 was in 1992), Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead, Road House (off by a year) and so on and so forth. Suffice to say, I don’t think the nostalgic do-overs are going to stop anytime soon. With that being said though, the one franchise Hollywood hasn’t seemed to touch yet is Bruce Willis’ beloved action movie - Die Hard. It is such a shame that dementia has overtaken the actor and I hope he battles the disease with unrelenting bravery. If 20th Century Fox decides to make a modern adaptation in honor of Willis someday, who do you see playing tough and stubborn McClane? Without hesitation, I could see Taron Egerton getting the part since he did so well with the Kingman roles back in 2015 and 2017. What do you think?

Is Moana 2 being treated fairly by critics?
The reviews for the sequel to Moana are starting to come out and, surprisingly, it is not going so well for the animated musical fantasy. With Dwayne Johnson and Auliʻi Cravalho once again lending their voices to the main characters, outlets like The Guardian, The Times and IGN seem to be escaping the mysticism of Motufetu and stepping into reality. Some moviegoers are even saying that Moana 2 should have been a Disney Plus series! As for me, I don’t think I saw a commercial for the movie and I also didn’t realize it was coming out so soon. Where do you stand - are you shocked that this movie is getting middle of the road reviews? Or did you think from way far out that this was possibly going to fall to the wayside so soon? Do you think Kevin Feige is jumping the gun with X-Men talk? We don’t even have The Avengers yet!
During the DisneyAPAC Content Showcase in Singapore (they hold a lot of events, don't they? It's hard to keep up) - Kevin Feige said that X-Men characters will start showing up in future movies of the MCU. Wait just a second now - what happened to the Avengers - who are the Avengers? We have two movies that everybody is looking forward to, and we don't even have a team yet! I really don't care about the X-Men until we see the new version of the team that carried the Marvel Cinematic Universe through what, four phases? I'll ask you now - which team do you want to see on the big screen first? The new version of the Avengers or the X-men? Let me know in the comments below!

I've changed my mind on the Minecraft movie. Have you?
I am holding my stance on Jason Momoa asGarrett "The Garbage Man" Garrison though. He's a legendary gamer or something like that? I don't know . . . I can do without that character. But seeing more of Black's character and the iconic garb on him as well as the world that Warner Brothers, Legendary and Vertigo created has made me change my tune about this movie. Yes, it's all green screen nonsense, but the spirit is there. Bows and arrows, meat, wolves, even ender pearls. As someone who has been with Minecraft since the beta days - color me impressed. What did you think of the latest trailer? Did you like it? Do you still not care? Whatever your opinion is, let me know in the comments below!

What’s the Most Striking Movie Poster You've Seen? Show Us!
There have been some insanely creative movie posters over the years that help to take a film to the next level. I imagine there are many even further back, but 1927 was certainly a standout with the banner made for Metropolis’ German premiere. Then came the 50s with all the outlandish sci-fi scrolls. Personally though - I feel like the 70s and 80s were perfection - A Clockwork Orange, Poltergeist, The Thing, Jaws - the list goes on. With that being said, do you think the best movie poster is somewhere outside that range, or maybe it’s one I didn’t mention? Show me what you think the best movie poster is and I’ll let you know what I think!

Two more Equalizer films? I’m all for it, how about you?
While the second Equalizer movie was admittedly a little wobbly when it came to story structure, Denzel Washington's overall performance as Robert McCall has birthed a nine-year movie franchise. And according to Mr. Washington himself (in an interview with Esquire), two more entries are on the way! That will be four and five - personally, I'm not tired of them. Seeing McCall take on the mafia was just as good as seeing him dismantle the bratva. I wonder who he will go after this time? Nevertheless, are you looking forward to more Equalizer movies? Or do you think this modern day gunman should ride off into the sunset like all action heroes of the past? Let me know below!

Marvel Zombies is rated TV-MA? Wow, I’m shocked.
On one hand, the upcoming Disney Plus Marvel Zombies show will only be four episodes. That is a travesty. If you look at the comics (and how many editions plus spin-offs there are), there are a lot of stories to possibly tell with this show. But on the other hand, Marvel Zombies is rated TV-MA. My jaw is down on the floor. Blood, guts and severed limbs possibly? Once heroes and villains, now they eat everything and munch on brains? Haha, who knows what’s really in store for MCU fans with this show, but I am already all in. What about you? If you’re a comic book fan - which scenes or sequences do you hope they adapt onto the small screen?

Why does Wizards Beyond Waverly Place feel so hollow compared to the original?
I made the unfortunate mistake of tuning into one episode of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and I was not impressed. Before you make this point, I’ll address it. Even the original Wizards of Waverly Place wasn’t great, some scenes were downright cringy and too forceful for even the hardcore Disney fans - but you can’t deny that the Russo family had a certain charm about them that made the show both easy to watch and entertaining. As a kid, I remember tuning into every episode. The theme song is etched into my brain for crying out loud! But Wizards Beyond feels hollow - so much missing. There’s no style, there’s no flair and the humor just misses the mark. I give the show two seasons max (I bumped it up from one due to the nostalgic factor). What do you think abot the show thus far?

Dogma 2? Nope, nada, no thanks. The first one was perfect.
Kevin Smith knows that this might be a bad idea - but he’s still doing it! He’s a mad man.At this year’s Vulture Festival in Los Angeles, the Clerks and Mallrats director announced to the audience that he is indeed working on a sequel to the cult 1999 film about fallen angels looking for a way back to Heaven. He even proclaims that Affleck and Damon are being contacted to come back - at the very least, as cameos. In my opinion, Dogma was a great movie from beginning to end. But it’s also the type of film that does not need to be continued - and I have to say something else too. Smith better not be making this decision because the film’s rights are no longer in the Weinsteins’ hands. That is a major accolade after all this time, but that doesn’t mean you have to take this extra step. The first one was perfect! I’ll throw it over to you now. Dogma 2 - yes or no?

Are you interested in a Popeye horror movie?
Classic cartoon characters getting a horror makeover. When will it stop? Not anytime soon, it seems. Winnie The Pooh, Bambi, Tinkerbell, Mickey Mouse - the list goes on. According to Bloody Disgusting, Popeye the Sailor Man is next in line. Headed by ITN Studios (also responsible for the Winnie-verse), this spinach eating and human slicing take on the classic name will hit movie theaters sometime in January 2025. Some stills are already circulating the internet which show the familiar figure - just a lot more brutal. If you’re a horror fan, are you interested in this version or is this transformative parody genre already growing a bit stale?

Why is Nicole Kidman so bitter with Hollywood?
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair about Babygirl, she throws shade at Deadpool for being one of the most popular franchises of recent times. Just before that, Kidman slyly attacked Martin Scorsese for not making films featuring women. Yes, it’s true that she started at 14 in the entertainment world - just like she said - so she’s become experienced with the biases of Hollywood no doubt. . . but deciding to go on the attack at this point in her career? She’s been active for over thirty years and has new features (whether it be TV or movies) on the way. Does she have a warrant with regard to what she’s saying or is there a tinge of jealousy in her words? You tell me. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Would you have wanted to see Oz respect The Penguin namesake in the HBO show?
In a recent video interview with CinemaBlend, Colin Farrel tells us that there was a scene in the eighth episode of The Penguin where Oz would actually come to - in his own twisted way - step into the villainous name by telling a little boy that “The Penguin” will always take care of his own. Would you have wanted to see this scene? Personally, I’m not sure if something like this should come this easily. The rest of the characters tease him with this moniker and for Oz to just casually step into it through a throw-away dialogue line seems like a waste. Maybe this can happen in Sofia Falcone’s miniseries? Or even The Batman: Part II? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

Just how many Sonic The Hedgehog films are we getting?
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is a little over a month away and with the introduction of Shadow, fans of the video game franchise couldn’t be happier. But it seems the director is already talking about which character this film is going to tease and spotlight for the fourth Sonic The Hedgehog film (whenever that may be). This seriously begs the question - how many Sonic films are we going to get? It’s almost as if they are trying to produce these video game adaptations just as fast as Sonic runs. Don’t get me wrong, I like the blue blur just as much as the next guy, but either they start getting a little more dark and gritty or I’m out. What’s your opinion on this seemingly long line of Sega movies? (I can’t believe I’m saying that) - do you want an endless supply of Sonic cinematic experiences or do you want them to slow down already?

Is Denzel Washington going to be a hero or villain in Black Panther 3?
Director Ryan Coogler is writing a part for Denzel Washington in Black Panther 3 - and that’s coming from Washington himself while on a press tour for Gladiator 2. There’s no speculation to be had when it comes from a source like that, haha. While the statement seems to be surprising to a lot of people, his more recent films - like every one of The Equalizer movies - as well as the Gladiator sequel have all held a certain fantastical sense to them. Plus, Angela Bassett’s character being killed left an empty space that needed to be filled - a more well known name that will hopefully bring the older audience in to see the Marvel movie. But here’s the question I’m looking at already - who will he be? Will he be some sort of mentor for the younger heroines or someone trying to take over Wakanda once more? What do you think?

Will you be watching the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight?
This fight has been the talk of the town for months now. Between all the short videos showing the two powerhouses training on Instagram Reels and Facebook videos that depict the boxers trash talking each other, the popularity of this upcoming match on November 15th seems to be at an all-time high. But. . . I mean. . . I don’t really care about it myself. They’re both being paid extravagantly, and they know not to kill the other on live television (not that such a thing would get me to watch it, I’m just laying out the boundaries). I’ll see the results all over the internet anyway moments after the event concludes (and probably for two weeks afterward, too). Are you going to watch it? I'm curious - what are you looking forward to seeing? Most importantly, who are you rooting for to win?
