@khangneovip I installed 2.0.1 and downloaded one song, but I can't find the .m4a file on my phone. It's not in the download folder I chose. Where can I find it?

Is it possible to have the app usable without writing permissions? I only want it to listen YouTube without downloading anything so I wouldn't need writing permissions... I don't want to see all my music in the app...Other than that, it's a great app [APP][4.1+] YMusic - Listen YouTube music in background (2)

I have a problem and a suggestion.

Problem:
When I download a song, it creates a folder tree on my sd '/storage/emulated/0/YMusic' instead of creating only the YMusic folder.

Suggestion:
Would be great and very useful to add the option to predefine a dedault download parameters to not have to change each time. Like, activate last.fm, set download as mp3....

What is the difference between downloading mp3 or m4a format? m4a is considerably smaller, but is there any difference in quality? I remember in older versions mp3 was "not recommended", any reason for that?

Multiple reasons to not use mp3:
- m4a is the format YouTube uses, so you can just download it. For mp3 another server will download the m4a, convert it to mp3 and then you'll download the mp3 from the other server.
- The mp3 is larger then the m4a.
- The mp3 cannot have better quality then the m4a because the m4a is used to create the mp3.
On the plus side, all music players support mp3, but not all support m4a.

Most of the playlists the latest songs is at the end. Could use an option to play songs from the end of the playlist

Fantastic work on the app, I love it! Been using for a while and it's great. I updated to the latest version of the v2 or newer app I believe and all was working fine, until now. It will open the app at all and gives this error. Cleared cache and data and still nothing... Hm.

Edit: Just uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked again fine. Then, after a reboot, I get this same error.

It was acting wonky but then I installed the newest update and its working swell once again. Seems like YouTube keeps doing things to break this app. They hate the idea of anyone listening to YouTube audio with the screen off. basterdz

Found an interesting bug:
My download folder is set to /storage/emulated/0/Music/YouTube but the songs get downloaded to /sdcard/storage/emulated/0/Music/YouTube which is the same as /storage/emulated/0/storage/emulated/0/Music/YouTube [APP][4.1+] YMusic - Listen YouTube music in background (9)

I second this issue. I thought v 2.0.1 was not writing at all to my download path. After reading your post I did realize, it created a second path in my storage /storage/emulated/0/storage/emulated/0/YMusic. In the configuration I have selected /storage/emulated/0/YMusic as the download path.

Best thing to add IMO is having the option to make playlists without saving songs offline and maybe do something to be able to sync YouTube playlists with this app

So does the enqueue function only work within the app? I try to use the share button to start a song from YouTube, and then queue up a song after it, but it never plays that song. Am I doing something wrong?

have to say it's an epic app, discovered it few weeks ago and the V2 is a huge boost for using it

Awesome upgrade. Just got the v2 update. It's cool so far. However, using the debug version, I am getting this error when trying to download a song from YouTube.

Failed to connect to /138.197.14.131:80

Any idea what this is? It's happened before in v1

any chance of adding swipe bar for forward and rewind on notification bar,down from playback buttons?I think this is the only and most important feature that is missing..

Wonderful app. The download folder though if incorrect. The app creates a new folder storage/emulated/0/storage/emulated/0/YMusic

Apart from that, it's working great for me (o_-)

The v 2 is just awesome, but we have lose the pop-up feature for download a video shared from YouTube. It was a far better than open the entire app. We have got ads without a way to remove them.
Aren't big deals however! Great work [APP][4.1+] YMusic - Listen YouTube music in background (27)
PS: still would be awesome a way to create playlist of YouTube music links without download the files
