You mean android Auto support? It's possible, but sorry it's low priority because it's quite complicated. Meanwhile, you can play via bluetooth.

Just curious - it's asking me to install kdev plug-in - what are these features it unlocks? It seems Ymusic is already full featured and I'm fine with the ads.

Is this legit or could be some kind of hijack?

From version 3.2.2, it works as you described except videos has metadata "Music in this video", like this one:

You can see in video description, it has "Music in this video" section. YMusic uses this metadata.

I really get the behavior that the Channel Name gets set to the Artist Tag and the complete Videoname to the Title tag on every video.

Even when converting the video you linked it sets the tags like that.

That is the whole greatness of the app.
In order to close it just stop playing music and you can swipe the notification away.

Hi, would like to ask for some features.

1. In player volume control slider
2. Favorite button & a list of favorite tracks or even better a separate tab for it.
3. A local playlist for non-downloaded/non-offline tracks without google login. Basically a collection of links to the tracks chosen to put in that playlist, so that only those tracks from the playlist can be played later from online.
4. A direct button to open track in YouTube app.

I've been trying to get the developers to add this feature for a while now but no dice they're not budging

Great app but is it secure?

I like this app, but it is not available on playstore, how can we be assured that it is safe.

i use goodbye ads (search on xda) host inside adaway and i never saw any ad. but i think we all should donatevto the dev. is one of the best apps ever.
